At Western Carolina Orthotics and Prosthetics, we operate by appointment. Whether you are a new patient or current patient, we ask you to call to schedule an appointment so that we can better serve your needs. Appointment length varies on the type of service and reason for the visit. Our office staff will schedule you according to your visit needs and answer any questions you may have regarding your appointment.
For new patients, we ask that you arrive 10 to 15 minutes early in order to fill out a patient demographic form and our office policy acknowledgement form. We will also need the following information: 1. A copy of your current insurance card (if applicable) and state identification. 2. Physician’s prescription or referral. (This is required by North Carolina state law for any service or device provided, no matter if insurance is being filed or not.) Please call the location that is best suited for you and your needs.
